This dumb ass endangered the lives of customers and passers-by when he shot his little pistol at the robber.

Thanks for posting about the Agatucci’s thing. We were driving on University and saw the cops blocking the road and detoured but were super curious what the deal was. I was dismayed about the lack of coverage last night and especially this morning.

It was not the smartest thing to shoot at him but maybe he’ll go to the range and get better at aiming or buy a laser sight so next time we have a DEAD perp. These theives need to learn there is a price to pay when you want to rob somebody and it could be there life.

I have been waiting for this to break but no news seems to have picked this up yet.

Totally irresponsible for the owner to shoot with customers and who knows who else nearby. I’m really upset because I love the place, but I don’t feel safe dining somewhere with loaded guns apparently so easily accessible.

Ha – I feel exactly the opposite. Now I’ll feel perfectly safe eating there. Do they take reservations?

If you read correctly, he was outside the restaurant when he fired on the suspect. This sends a message to the crime community that not all of the population is going to allow the thugs to trounce all over their rights & jeopardize their property.

  • 11    Observer // Nov 21, 2010 at 9:13 PM

Agreed Mms. Don’t let the thugs win. How anyone could begrudge a guy protecting his business and livelihood is beyond me. If the dude had been successful that might have been the end of Agatucci’s as we know it, as it would have been a welcome mat to any other thug looking for a quick and easy buck. Go Aggies!

To all you idiots crying about the owner taking fire…It was after hours with no customers, outside, and the perp had a gun too. Don’t be stupid and get your facts straight before you leave dumb comments. Especially you Streight Sounds

WARNING TO COMMENTOR; This is not PJS site NO NAME CALLING WILL BE ALLOWED!!

Patrons will feel safer knowing the restaurant owner hands the robber a bag of cash, then calls the police. That way nobody gets hurt.

What’s the potential loss? One night’s worth of business? You’re going to risk customers and passers-by getting caught in the crossfire, just to save a few hundred dollars from the till?

I wonder if you even know what the opinion of the police department is on this issue.
